Oxford United Miscellany

Post by Swissbloke »

Got my shiny book in the post Boris.

10/10 superb so far.

I totally recommend this book for toilet use. It's perfect for sitting on the throne.

Although you may think me slightly mental, It's possibly the finest book I have ever read. And I'm only at page 8.

:-)

If you need to read a book while sitting on the throne - get more fibre into your diet

AH superb. Raclette, potato and gurkin. That's a healthy option.

Nice stall in Borough market does decent raclette..

It's one of the best footy books I’ve ever read, because it’s not just aimed at the stato market but to a wider audience. It's rammed with interesting facts and unusual stuff.

From reading the introduction of this book it appears that Martin still has lots of unpublished stuff, so can we please, please have an ‘Oxford United Miscellany II’?

p.s. I wish I’d taken it to the game today as it would have helped to pass away the time in the 2nd half.

Thanks for your kind words, Snake.

There is indeed quite a lot of stuff that didn't make the book, mainly because of space, but I'm not sure there's enough for another volume (yet!).

Having said that, if I can find a publisher then maybe next year...
