Bulls 1-2 Ox's

Fleetwood

Craddock &amp Constable

Att: 3,650 (1300)

UE:Tommy Craddock is sent off after clashing with ex-Hatters team mate and giant Hungarian centre half Janos Kovacs.

Half the Oxford crowd arrive late and are seriously inebriated due to drinking too much &quotHereford Lightning&quot (the tag line from the 1970's TV commercials
for Bulmers)

EDIT: It was Woodpecker Cider

Chalky White 1-1 Hooky First Light

McQuilkin. Craddock.

4800 of whom 1900 don't give two stuffs in a bottle about Ronnie Radford (however they quite like Jimmy Glass).

UE - The Hereford Bull paraded on the pitch at the start of the match makes a rude but Coward-esque witty critique of Hereford's start to the season - and manager Simon Davey accidentally slips in it. Meanwhile Tim Russon is quite pleased when Hereford accidentally scramble a pinball-style goal (though his major allegiance clearly remains with those dear old Cherry-and-Whites).

SAS troops infiltrate the Oxford end, and with some Andy McNab style tear gas, ensure that the home support is left weeping into their bulls milk.
