Half the Oxford crowd arrive late and are seriously inebriated due to drinking too much "Hereford Lightning" (the tag line from the 1970's TV commercials
for Bulmers)

4800 of whom 1900 don't give two stuffs in a bottle about Ronnie Radford (however they quite like Jimmy Glass).
UE - The Hereford Bull paraded on the pitch at the start of the match makes a rude but Coward-esque witty critique of Hereford's start to the season - and manager Simon Davey accidentally slips in it. Meanwhile Tim Russon is quite pleased when Hereford accidentally scramble a pinball-style goal (though his major allegiance clearly remains with those dear old Cherry-and-Whites).
