Managerial Merry-go-round
Re: Managerial Merry-go-round
Burton (Rowett moves 27/10/14).....Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink (13 Nov 14)
By getting the Burton job Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink, with Dave Oldfield as his number two, he becomes the third black person to be appointed out of the last 15 managers jobs to be settled.
This 20% proportion represents a dramatic increase on the previous year, and clearly represents a worrying trend which will inevitably lead to every manager in English football being black within the next two years. This prejudice against non-black applicants must be stopped before it gets out of hand. I propose a new rule in which 100% of applicants interviewed must not be black otherwise who knows where we'll end up!!!
