Waste of Space that is a Boot with no Pomp

Predictions as they were meant to be. Or not. Whatever.

Waste of Space that is a Boot with no Pomp

Post by Ancient Colin »

I'm sympathetic to not having a Boot for the JPT, but if people are desparate, and in the absence of Old Ab's effort, let's keep it dead simple with a single question: what's the crowd going to be?

Nearest wins, if equidistant, lowest wins, no repeats.

So all you need to type is something like 2,222 ... there you go.

If no-one much enters, I'll rescind it and we'll revert to OA for Saturday. SEE BELOW

In a desperate attempt to secure some points at last, I'll bite and predict 2789

I think it's up to OA - if he was waiting to set a boot for the weekend then I'll wait for that, but if he comes on and admits he was late/forgot/or should have set one for tonight, then I'm happy for this to stand and will enter later on

Well, I proposed in previous years not doing the JPT and got shouted down ("it's a first team fixture de dah de dah). Rules are rules and the 36 hour rule, thanks to Hog, is a rule. But if it's only Radley and me in it, then it gets cancelled.

OK it's gone 7pm and still only Radley ... so NO JPT BOOT.

We'll revert to Old Abingdonian for Saturday (although the 36 hour rule still operates).
