2013/2014 Season Ticket Packages Released

Post by OUFC4eva »

today...with some interesting add ons.

I like the concept of a NEW 12th Man Supporters Bar for Season Ticket Holders
and i'll most certainly take a look at a First team Training Session.
£5 off the NEW Nike Replica Kit helps a bit too.

I'll be renewing .

Some clever marketing, to sweeten the bitter taste of price increases following another season of failure.

The removal of the credit/debit card booking fee is only because the law is changing from today to prevent such booking fees being charged.

Many won't be interested in a reduced price subscription to programmes when 9 out of 10 supporters don't buy them in the first place.

Many won't be interested in the shirt discount, because the club has changed to annual shirt design changes.

Many won't be interested in the Yellow Player discount, because it is already heavily over-priced for a very poor service with poor content, which should be free anyway.

The so called family deals are nothing special and are located in the worst section of the ground.

And to pressure existing ST holders into renewing, the deadline for renewals or risk losing your seat is before the end of the current season.

Lenagan said at the last forum that he doesn't like early collection of ST money, that it feels wrong, yet here we are a few weeks later and he is doing just that.

The only new benefits of the ST season which might encourage a few are the more sensible 10 month payment plan (although to call this interest free and then charge an &quotadmin fee&quot of 8% is no different to charging 8% interest), and the under 18 ST deal.

I suspect many will wait to see if Wilder gets the sack before renewing, and I predict a sharp drop in ST numbers this year.
