The military attending march across the pitch creating a trench as deep as Mariana, requiring the government to get Challenger out of the warehouse for another trip to see how deep the trench is. Being as deep as Mariana, everyone already knows it is 10,994m at the deepest point, but Challenger hasn't had a trip out for quite a while. Because of the trench, the game is called off, so the soldiers set up a match using kitbags for goalposts. The Red Arrows do a low fly past causing a wind so great that the ball is dragged into the net. The ref can't decide whether to give the goal or not so the captains draw straws to decide if it was a goal or not. Neither of them are any good at drawing, so they decide to toss a coin instead. As this is a family day out, the ref rules that one out as well. Eventually, they realise that all the fans have gone home anyway, so the squaddies pack up their troubles in their old kitbags and smile smile smile.
