Fair play to LSD. I still think he can do a job for Us.

&quotThere was an unmistakable passion among the home side, with no-one exemplifying this more than midfielder Sam Deering, who made countless lung-busting runs and last-ditch challenges&quot

Doesn't sound like the Deering I know.

I don't think his passion on the field during match time was ever questionable. It was off the field where the desire and willingness to work hard to be a top footballer was (is?) lacking. If LSD has got that sorted then he would still be a real asset for us imho. But has he?

Gone to Barnet permanently now. Shame, as he is one of our most creative players, but makes sense for all round I guess.

What does the sell on clause tell us?

That Wilder thinks he has the potential to play at a higher level but has lost patience with him for whatever reason? Just speculation.

LSD is a London boy, of course, so it may be that he was keen to move that way once it became clear that Barnet were going to be playing at the same level as Us next year. And/or maybe he just enjoys being a relatively bigger fish in a smaller pond, whereas for Us there's a good chance he'd just have been a fringe player again.

Good luck to him - he seems to have made a big impression at BArnet, so I hope he keeps that up having signed properly. If he can mature a little bit, then he may be able to progress further up the ladder, so good idea to put the sell-on clause in....

Wonder where Midson will end up?
