I liked this headline next to the article too &quotShreck recalled from Kent loan&quot

Poor sod, he must really hate the films :D.

Gotta love the cute badge (rs). Has there ever been a less football-related one than this?

Much too familiar! Whenever we're within spitting distance of the relegation places this should be printed off and handed to all the players and coaching staff as a reminder.

You know how Trevor 'Rule Book' Peake's Forest Green always managed to stay up even though they finished in the bottom four? And Altrincham too?

Tomorrow FGR have a shit-or-bust game against Tamworth where a draw will keep them up and send Tamworth down. If Altrincham win and other results go their way they could also escape the drop if Tamworth lose.

Tamworth don't have a fit goalkeeper so applied for an emergency loan. Guess whether they got it!

They should be okay though because their 43 year old assistant manger used to be a goalkeeper! Personally I'll laugh my socks off if they pull it out of the bag and send both FGR and Alty down!

Cheers Hog - a sizeable bet has just gone on Forest Green at 9/5 against.

No probs RR.

You might want to look at the odds for a draw between Ebbsfleet and Woking. Woking need a point to confirm play-offs and Ebbsfleet need a point to secure third place. Blue Square only realised this evening and have lowered their odds (after it was pointed out to them by a mug supporter on a forum!) but the others might not be on the ball.

Another suitably sizeable bet applied. If I can't pay my mortgage this month, where can my wife find you??

I was going to say, if it comes off, where can I find you?! Hopefully the Ebbsfleet result covered the Forest Green one?!

I doubled my money on a small bet. 2 out of 3 came up - the third I went for was Hereford v Bradford as a draw. Both needed a point ot be assured of League footie next season. As it happened the 43 yr old didn't play in goal for Tamworth. Was a goalie called Connor who had played one game previously in the first team.

I think Connor was the youth team 'keeper who they had to use in the previous game when he had a nightmare and went off 'injured' before the end. Presumably he had to make a 'recovery' when they couldn't sign an adult?
