Excellent.

So much for all the experts who thought Wilder would be getting rid of him in the summer.

Great news indeed.

What really makes me feel good about this is that - being a parochial old git - I only want people to play for my football club who want to be part of the club.

This is why I get so pissed off with some of the big name mercenaries like Rooney, Ashley Cole, Carlos Tevez and so on.

Maybe it's a cunning plan to get more money for him? I am joking.

Although there was the dean saunders transfer...

Good news yes. But I think there was a time when CW did indeed wonder if Beano was a top L2 striker. I assume Beano has now convinced his manager that he is.

List of &quottop L2 strikers&quot enclosed below.

God, eh? Do you think so? I reckon the 12th Man probably made a bigger contribution!

To those who think we only have one decent striker i would like to draw their attention to the player in joint 14th posn on 14 goals.

Chesterfield - top of the league, have three in the list. No coincidence.

MacDonald and Grimes are not, strictly L2 strikers - are any more on loan?

Given that Beano has scored 15 this season, that list clearly only includes League goals.

As Boris pointed out to me today, a certain Mr B No is likely to break a few club records provided he doesn't get injured.

Excellent news to pin him down to 3 years.

Excellent news - but I do think it is time the captaincy was moved elsewhere.

Preferably midfield.

Also, look at the chap 14th in that list - seem to remember him from the last time we were in Division IV......
