Oh dear, its a good job you're not delegated the responsibility of communication.

Why do you have to have an extreme reaction to everything? Why is the only alternative to cozying up and fannying around, shouting the other party down. Why is the only method of pointing out problems in Lenagn's budget, shouting him down? Why is being critical of OxVox, slagging anyone off? That's exactly what you've done above of course. There is an ocean of grey between black and white you know. You might do well to use it.

There has been no discernible pressure from OxVox on the club for the last two years, apart from a tiny little bit in the past couple of months.

If the club fail to answer your questions, your solution is do nothing. That says it all.

Why when you are facing someone can you not ask them a direct question and be prepared to back it up with more questions and not take no for an answer? Surely you've faced MDs and CEOs and FCs in your work and had to do that. It isn't difficult, and no you don't have to shout and ball at them to do it, before we get another of your extreme reactions.

Your notion that points made on an internet forum have less validity than those made face to face has no foundation. It is just another means of communication, get yourself into the 21st century.

I'm afraid your other points are, to use your language, crap.

Oh and if hard working means coming on the internet forums you so despise, slagging OxVox members, and describing points of view that you disagree with yet can't provide an explanation for that disagreement, as crap, then we have different definitions of hard working.
I clearly indicated that my earlier posting was a personal view. Dragging the OxVox committee into our argument is simply disingenuous. I have already explained in a supplementary posting why I consider your posting to be so off beam.

No one is 'shouting you down'.

You seem to imply that we avoid asking direct questions of the club . I resent that wild surmising. Yes, we are measured, civilised and responsible in our dealings. Timid? No way.

You simply cannot use the extreme language of the internet forum in putting your point across when meeting the main players..

Direct face to face contact with decision makers is FAR more important than meandering discussions with fellow supporters about the supposed failings of the club based on gossip and hearsay, spiced up with a few occasional personal insults thrown in.

Let's concentrate on what Lenagan Jr actually had to say yesterday to my colleagues, (we are still to receive a detailed report from Trev and Chris ) and take it from there.

Is it though? Doesn't it very often result in an excessive willingness to accept what one is told and to agree, as the price of access, not to ask awkward questions in public?
entirely disenchanted

In certain circumstances, yes, fair comment.
Not at the current time though.

I'm not going to bore everyone else to death dragging this argument out (on this forum), save to say, I do not believe you have dealt with any of the issues raised.
