Not sure if the 40 are league clubs only.

My offerings are Maidstone Utd and Crawley Town.

I don't believe we've ever been in administration, I'm not a reliable source though. Someone could simply send an email to Mick asking him.

No. I'm fairly certain that the transition from Kev Maxwell to Corbett was a direct sale/transfer, probably via some dodgy* offshore tax-avoidance dealings.

And are unlikely to do so whilst the major creditor remains as the owner. However if Ian Lenagan/WPL was to want out and sell his stake in the club withoiut all of his debt being cleared as part of the deal it could become very possible.

I'm pretty sure (well, certain) that we went into receivership. Could that not be what Mick meant?

Coventry, I think, were rescued at the last moment.

I don't think we went into receivership.

That's pretty much the bank appointing an official receiver who's main job would have been to sell the Manor Ground and other assets for the benefit of the major creditors.

Receivership is different to selling as a &quotgoing concern&quot which would normally be the case when a football club exits Administration with next to no debt.

They supervised the CVA which prevented the club from going into administration or receivership.

In 1992 they were appointed to sort out Maxwell's affairs.
