Diamonds 1 Paste 0
Louis
5432 (2678)

UE: A post-match investigation discovers that the Diamonds are, in fact, fakes that have been used by local gangsters as a money-laundering exercise following an audacious but well-planned robbery of a local dry cleaners and convenience store. One of the conclusions in the final report following the investigation is that the Diamonds' certificate of authenticity be revoked, leading to a clamour for the game to be awarded to Oxford. However, the same report concludes that oxen no longer cross the river at Oxford, and that if they did they would use a bridge anyway, and so the result stands. However, Justin Edinburgh is exiled to Scotland and Chris Wilder is forced to abandon civilisation.

That doesn't bode well for our leading scorer.

We take the cautious approach and concede from a set-piece. The last 15 minutes is all Oxford but it's too late.

UE: Louis hattrick. When the game ends in a draw the ref insists the teams return to the pitch for extra time.
