Youth team have pulled off a commanding 3-1 win away to Southend in the FA Youth Cup - goals from Humphreys, Roberts and Ashby - to set up a trip to Swansea in the next round......

Not at all true, and you have to keep hoping! Swansea City currently have the highest possession stats in the Prem but are still only 10th. It’s a balance between effective hoofball and goading the opposition to a level where they lose their formation partly through being frustrated at not getting a touch on the ball for ages.

Actually, it was our third choice keeper (U16 Barney Martin) replaced by the fourth choice (U17 Academy keeper Rory Golden). The two scholar keepers Josh Hill and Eddie Cavenagh have both been injured for pretty much the entire season so far....
THe midfield and frontline are mainly second years, but the defence deserves extra mention, with two first years and an U16 player in there....

Wow. A stunning result. I can only assume that Swansea have the resources to spend significantly more money on youth development than us, so it shows how far our youth team has progressed since IL came on the scene.

Well done IL, Chris Allen and all of the coaches. With the excellent recent results despite the injuries to the first team, and the youngsters coming through, this is even more promising for the future.

Yeah, like his “aim all along” is to buy the Stadium. But at least this may start to change/reinforce his ways/thoughts as Rent Boy is already boasting about how he got the costs down at his other club Up North and maybe even making a yearly profit on #oufc if we get to League I (though he's clearly not in tune with wage structures even at that level). And by the way - Snakes don’t dig, we just mind our own business on the ground looking upwards some of the time.
