Nice story - but doesn't really ring true that you run a half marathon completely unprepared in 1hr 49?

anyway, there is a Day with PDC courtesy of the Sun (from the Hereford game)

If he's kept up his general fitness, then his underlying level of fitness from years of top flight football would probably be able to carry him through in that sort of time - I used to run the Great North for many years on next to nowt actual training and always came in under 2 hours just on the back of having run regularly when I was younger.

Still doesnt mean he's not a nutter though!

I ran the Reading half in March (almost) unprepared and managed a time of 1.59:59.....and i was never a professional footballer )
