How on earth can they give a Yorkshire man games to referee that involve YORK?

Now why do the words 'Brian', 'Lee' and 'conspiracy' come to mind :!:

assistant referee Michael Salisbury is from Lancashire so presumably on our side!
Carl Fitch is from Suffolk.

assistant referee Robert Madley from South Yorkshire.

We'll just have to beat them fair and square

I take you haven't noticed where our manager is from??

What chance that the ref and CW are both from Sheffield, both Blades fans and both went to the same school (here's hoping...!)?

Averages over 3 yellows a game, and not afraid of the red either.

He reffed our away game at Kiddy and sent Kinniburgh off.

He also gave us a pen though.

At Wembley in front of 50.000 people I expect he'll be too busy trying not to shit himself to be biased.

I am not saying he will be biased, but it is stupid to leave it open to suggestion isn't it?

Even if he is the 'best' referee that Lee can come up with........I am pretty sure sure that FIFA would not award the World Cup Final to a referee from England if the English football team (ever) get there....no matter how good they thought he was!

Just another ridiculous decision to add to a VERY long list.

He's from SOUTH Yorkshire - They hate posh North Yorkshire bastards from York.

Is he actually a Yorkshireman or does he just live there? I have lived 70% of my life in Hampshire but I don't have the slightest affinity to Aldershot Town!

He had a bloody good game, I thought. One booking only. He seemed to handle the occasion well and he certainly isn't the talking point of the day.
