Re: from 4-3-3 to 3D...
Santa was very kind and bought me a bottle of 3D, a sample of which will be in my hip flask this afternoon. Don't tell the stewards.

Re: Wrexham
Dean Saunders needs to take a long hard look at himself after his ridiculous comments last night. It was bad enough that he was so one sided throughout the whole game but his comments about that horror tackle by Clarke on Williams just made him sound like an utter fool.

Re: Hat's off to those going
Well that was two hours of my life I'll never get back, although the ends justified the means I suppose. The only good bit for me was the referee who proved that there is such a thing as a good official. I had gotten to the stage that I thought it was me that was at fault because after every game I ...

Re: James Constable: Legend?
IDG Give that man a cigar. Hardly a legend. He pissed off as soon he got approached by another club. Ron Saunders has a better claim than him. Isn't that the point though, Managers move for differing reasons, some have their contract terminated because they are not fulfilling their contractual obli...

Re: James Constable: Legend?
I should probably have included some managers in my Legends List. For me the one man that made the biggest difference to United only stopped with us for 18 months and his middle name was Denzil.

He's no Gary Briggs or Malcolm Shotton, that's not to say that he wouldn't make the list in the future.JoeyBeauchamp wrote:No Jake Wright?
Actually Mark Wright should be up for consideration as well.

Re: James Constable: Legend?
Calling Ken Skeen a goal machine is pretty over the top! That was the song we used to sing at the time rather than a comment on his scoring ability. Rob Duffy? Yes, I've already had that conversation, he did well for us at the time but as my mate says he was and apparently still is a lazy fecker.

I just checked out the 68/69 season which was my first full season watching United and all of the goalscorers that season are on my Legend List with the exceptions of Ray Gaston (2) and Barry Thornley (1)

My Legend list, there is nobody before the late sixties as I'm a relative newbie and there are doubtless many omissions.
