Justin, I'll chuck a tenner in, (on condition you let my grammatical errors go from now on).

That should buy you a 4 zone travelcard, a pint and a bag of nuts at London prices.

Another serious offer.

I think we'll see key players rested for that (York) match, escpecially if we have 2nd/3rd spot guaranteed, and the keyest of all players is the Yemster. Would you be that surprised if a York reserve was picked specifically to &quotget&quot our only threat? In fact, could we not sign Dempste...

Re:

Did anybody else notice the way Jim Smith congratulated Patto at the final whistle? The body language, to me, seemed to suggest the Master congratulating the Apprentice on a job well done. Perhaps the succession planning is further advanced than previously thought? I don't normally comment on stuff...

I'd rather see a real football club go up than a franchise. The longer Milton Keynes struggle, the fewer fans they'll have, the more likely they are to get relegated/go bankrupt/both. The sooner that happens, the better.

The few people I know who have been to St Albans' ground assure me it's one of life's more depressing experiences, combining a mixture of the worst ground in the world with locals with neo-nazi tendencies.

Oxford's Conference Call

The latest edition of Oxford's Conference call will be up and running shortly on the BBC Sport website.

It should be on the football front page

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/default.stm

but otherwise try the non-league section.

As always, any feedback appreciated

Blackpool lost 3-0 at home to Bratfert after winning away 2-0.

One of my (many) bosses at work is a Blackpool fan and one of my few remaining football pleasures is reminding him of that season.

His response is rather predictable.

I am so depressed. There's been a horrible inevitability about this all season.

I don't think we'll make it into the play-offs.

Why am I thinking of &quotToday' newspaper (you know, the first colour one)? Did they sponsor it?

I'm glad that Stevenage aren't in the list, because they are the team I want us to avoid the most. ---------- Although, this season is starting to remind me of the 1994/5 season: Managed by Smith. Only 1 automatic promotion spot Top of the league in December Striker banging in goals from everywhere ...
