Oh well. You got one eventually."boris" wrote:dunno about who my money is on (cos I ain't the gambling type, normally), but my wish list is for Exeter, Shrewsbury, Yeovil, and Derby.
Is your glass one quarter full or three quarters empty?

How very unlucky. Couldn't have happened to a nicer football club."Hog" wrote:Just noticed something about Franchise FC that made me laugh out loud - they finish THIRTEEN points ahead of Shrewsbury!
And now their manager has moved on. Shame.

Yes but I'm thinking Darlington, Darlington, Darlington, empty seats, empty seats, no atmosphere, no atmosphere."Snake" wrote:Yes, but, http://www.mkdons.premiumtv.co.uk/page/ ... 55,00.html

10 seats for the price of one!"Snake" wrote:Yes, but, http://www.mkdons.premiumtv.co.uk/page/ ... 55,00.html
Oh how I'll laugh when that stadium is knocked down in favour of granny flats.
Milton Keynes has a history of not providing long term support to local teams and loads have folded over the years due to glory fans seeking higher level football elsewhere. A few years without success and franchise will go the same way, and I'll be renting ground space for my deck chair as the bulldozers go in.
Oh, how I hope this will happen,
However, I was speaking to someone from MK the other day and he reckons they are winning the hearts and minds of the young fans who are not old enough to have known any other than the team being on their doorstep. And everyone is supposed to support their local team came into the arguement too - not that any of that held any water with me.
And I saw my first ever MK Dons bloody car sticker last weekend. Too make matters worse it was driving through Bicester. Perhaps I gave a little gesture.
