Letter from Australia

You'll all be glad to know it's cold and raining this morning here in Melbourne and the internet access is from the stone age but at least I've managed to get it for free.
We went to the MCG yesterday and had a tour around the members area - eat your heart out Emirates Stadium. We saw Dennis Lillee unveiling his statue outside the ground and there were a number of other Australian cricket luminaries there including Mark Waugh. The England team turned up while we were there and I stood right behind Kevin Pietersen while he was taking deliveries from the bowling machine - man those balls travel.
Off to the wineries in the Yarra valley today - not much danger of me coming home sober.
