Lift required on Boxing day:
Will be coming up from the west country using what little public transport there is: ie little. So far, the closest to Oxford I can get is (whisper it) Sw****n at around 1.15.
Does anyone drive through or past the god-foresaken place?
Any offers very gratefully accepted.

I think it must have been the Slumdon reference that put people off, Dan.
Can't you hitch?

A Santa costume might help you get a lift.

Dan,
Have you checked your Rage On Line messages?
You should find my phone number / email address there.
Don't despair just yet unless you've already read the message and it is no use to you.

There is a guy on this forum who runs a half-decent taxi service.

Standing in Slumdon with a sign saying 'Oxford'? Sounds like a good idea to me.

You say the nicest things Snake
I can recommend you don't use them on Boxing Day, not at the prices they charge.

Only Boxing Day? I found them pretty expensive every day of the year when I used to have to use them... (for some reason I couldn't bring myself to use some other company based there)

I will be attending the game and coming from Calgary if anyone can give me a lift please?!?! A DLT taxi might be a bit pricey from here..
