New future, New kit

As a distraction to the inevitable discussions over players futures (and Man U in other places), thought I would start a thread on next seasons kit.

In a reflection of the general mood, next seasons Nike templates seem uninspiring. Link to full catalogue here [large PDF].

Home options:
Given that all the yellow (gold) templates include black, it would be a welcome, if surprising, decision to retain the present kit. If this seasons shirts can be recycled, funds can hopefully be found to afford some yellow shorts as the alternative white shorts with yellow shirts has looked awful.

Away options:
A few plain templates in either white, dark blue or this seasons purple. My favourite of the new templates is the Victory II in white and dark blue
Image.

With the exception of the light blue away of a few years ago, I have generally liked the clubs choices with Nike. That said, perhaps it is time for a change. Fans deciding on the away kit, as suggested by Oxblogger, is at least a welcome idea.

This is a recent template from Nike.

I think we need a change too.

Are we contracted to Nike?

I believe the club have a kit deal with Just Sport which is a
distributor of template Nike kits from a catalogue. Just Sport run the club shop too.

I thought the deal was ending this summer after five years.

I thought they also provided adidas kits but a quick look the Just Sport site suggests they've been binned.

If we have to stick with Nike I could live with this one ... http://store.nike.com/gb/en_gb/pd/2013- ... gid-810786

I much prefer Adidas strips - maybe we could switch to a different shade of blue while we are at it?

Is it too much to hope for a return to proper football shirts with a proper collar? We've not had one like that since the old Unipart kit. We had a half-hearted collar on the last Bridle kit, but it wasn't the same.

Can we not switch to a supplier that provides a full range of sizes, rather than just those for little 'uns?

I'd be happy with this one too, not a fan of the lighter blue....
...and certainly not a fan of white shorts with yellow tops

Avec also manufactured Doncaster Rovers kit for this current season.

Next season's away kit will be predominantly white with purple trim. I understand that the purple could well become a feature for our away kit for some time to come. Purple also happens to be Wigan Warriors change kit too...

They also do a lot of the club branded gear which is available in the OUFC club shop.

Those Doncaster and Palace shirts seem to be the sum total of their football shirt port folio!
