I AM SURE MR WILDER KNOWS THE PLAYERS HE WANTS TO BRING IN SO GET ON WITH IT NOW
NO GOOD TO HANG AROUND WAITING IF FIRST TARGETS WANT TO DELAY MOVE TO NEXT TARGET ,MAKE CERTAIN THEY ARE FULLY FIT AND DO NOT SKIMP ON THESE MATTERS AS APPEARS TO HAVE
BEEN THE CASE IN RECENT SEASONS .

JUST A FEW NAMES TO CONSIDER SIMON KING , STUART BEAVON ,GILES COKE , DEAN WHITEHEAD BILLY BODIN

Whitehead re-joining is is surely fanciful. He's an established Premier League player
probably earning £1m plus per annum despite OOC in June.

Poor old Simon King has had a terrible 2-3 years with injuries so too risky.

I would expect that CW would have a very good idea of who will be available
and who he can get. Managers are forever talking to each other
about players. It should be a busy summer that's for sure.

I wonder if there are any up and coming strikers/midfielders in the Conference
that we would be interested in for example.

Anthony Malbon at Kidderminster seems to score goals as does Adam Cunnington at Tamworth
- are they any good? Big Jamille Matt at Fleetwood has hardly set the world alight after his £300k
move from Harriers in January.

Would Aldershot striker Danny Hylton be available - again been injured for the last two months
so difficult. Is Southend right back Sean Clohessy OOC? he's decent.

I would keep Davies and Davis, Whing, Potter and Pittman
(subject to assessing JPP's hamstring being sorted - what is the root cause)

O'Brien is the one I'm not sure about.I'd love to offer a deal to Leven
if he is now fit - I don't see that happening.

Duberry, 37 said afterwards on Saturday that he felt
fully fit now and sharp and wants to play on.His wage expectations
may mean the exit door.

Release: Batt,Capaldi, Richards, Parker, Worley, Duberry, Heslop, Smalley &amp Craddock.
Mansfield will pay us a transfer fee/promotion bonus this summer for Adam Chapman of course.

Agree with all of that, no mention of Beano though - I think if we got offered £150k for him, time to let him go. Also no mention of Wright, I assume he is a shoe-in for retention?

Ah - another thread tells me that both Beano and Wright are in contract - ignore the above re Wright although I stand by the Beano position.

Personally I really don't understand how quite a few people aren't fans of Batt, in our 2 seasons back in the League Batt is the only player that has been voted in the PFA team of the year, and that was the 2010/11 season, I think most would agree he's a better player then he was then.

He hasn't got forward as well this season, a lot of which is down to the fact 4-4-2 is the main formation now, which is less reliant on full-backs getting forward, and he has become very solid defensively, I can't help but think it's an instinct for a lot of football fans that a full-back that attacks well is &quota bit dodgy at the back&quot.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Bournemouth rumour has at least some substance.

I stand by my comments on Damian. Decent going forward but seldom beats the first man with his final ball.
Positionally suspect and always liable to a make a mistake.

I have watched the guy in the FL home and away and whilst he has attributes
I think we should be able to bring in better quality. I don't doubt he has been a good CW signing.
He could of course stay.

However Batt has been a mainstay in a team that has shipped close to 80 goals this season.

Anyway talking of Chappers - I see he's already on the p!ss in Tenerife with Mansfield !!
