Ch-ch-ch-changes ...

Ok folks, just to let you know that the site and forum are going to be going through 'the change' at some point in the next month ..
Basically, we're moving on from the hosting that's provided by our current provider (AMBS) and moving to another provider. The switch is due to AMBS moving their hosting infrastructure to another provider.
So, at this point I'd like to firstly thank AMBS for their hosting over the past EIGHT years, which has been completely free of charge from day one - very much appreciated !
Secondly, I'd like to remove my cap from my head, place it on the metaphorical pavement in front of me and ask whether any of you would be willing to donate a small amount to the 'future hosting fund' ? We will be migrating to a new host who charge a very reasonable 80 quid a year, which seems agreeable. For this we will get the forum and the site hosted, so normal-ish service will be resumed ...
The migration will result in downtime of the forum of about a day - plenty of notice to be given. the new site will have all the articles, match reports, news and even the crap poetry from the current effort, with the stats coming on line slowly over the summer by the start of next season all should be well in RO-World
If you are happy to contribute then please just reply to this thread, or email me at yellowportly PLUSSIGN rocontribs AT gmail DOT com (sorry for contrived email address but a good chance of avoiding some spam if I do this) and I will send you details for payments etc ... contributors will be acknowledged by firstname/forum name on the revamped site (if happy to be so)
