On the Beeb site too now.

If they're serious enough about him, they'll be back.

But are they serious. or is just DC p155ing about trying to unsettle things here (having not learnt from last time)?

That's the question isn't it. guess we'll have to wait and see. Trying to understand the thinking of PDC though, well I'm not sure anyone can!

IF DECENT OFFER COMES FOR BEANO FROM SCUM OR ANYONE ELSE THEN SELL .
BUY ANY OF THESE TO REPLACE HIM CRAIG DAVIES , STUART BEAVON
SIMON COX OR BILLY BODIN .
WITH OR WITHOUT SALE OF BEANO WE NEED TO SPEND MONEY ON ANOTHER PROVEN STRIKER IF WE ARE TO GO UP THIS SEASON.

Allegedly they have come back with a second offer and he has asked to talk to them.

Not sure that losing top scorer is a good idea especially if some maybe goes to Shrewsbury (?) and some to Kassam if the rumours again are true?

A move to Swind**- talk about losing supporter goodwill and risk jeopardising a play off place in one easy lesson ....

And before anyone says anything, if this is true, you'd *always* go an talk to another employer, even if you want to stay where you are. Could add another £50k p/a to his wage. Sensible kid with a sensible agent.

The report allegedly being run by Sky Sports that Constable has asked to speak to S*****n after a 2nd bid came in is more of a worry. Has anyone seen that report?

mmm....one guy who moved to Italy to get away from the club one who wasted many years waiting for the call from OUFC that never came and is now at Wycombe a reserve keeper who left us about 10 years ago or an Aussie umpire with a crooked finger - cant see any of them being the answer to our problems....???

If it's true, presumably we haven't rejected the second bid outright. If we had, we obviously wouldn't let him talk to them.

This seems to me like the start of a process which ends up with Beano leaving the club. If that's the case I hope it's over with quickly. We could do without a load of disruption and extra pressure while we're trying to win some 'easy' home games. The next 6-8 matches are make or break for our season, with or without Beano.

Is n't Billy Bowden the kiwi umpire with the crooked finger?

Simon Cox is on around £10k per week at WBA !

Not necessarily a 100% guide, but Beano has just re-tweeted the following tweet from BBCOxfordSport &quotWe hear from a trusted source that James Constable is not looking for a move from #oufc and certainly not to another League Two club.&quot
