UE:despite being comprehensively outplayed, WhyCome? find a technicality to whine about and are awarded the points due to one of United's bellboys wearing odd socks. Meanwhile, WhyCome? attribute this success to a second hand inanimate wooden totem with little relevance to football - but this isn't to last as Gary Waddock loses the last fives games of the season.

AC tries to recall the lyrics to Calexico's gypsy's curse before remembering it is an instrumental.

UE: The points deducted from the Bulls 'n Gulls are seen blowing over the West End fence. Olly the Ox makes a spectacular catch, hands them to Mick Brown. Mick pops them in an envelope.
