UE: After being inspired by a cookery programme featuring Blumenthal, Chris Wilder goes all experimental with Doble and Woodley the two strikers on from the start, LSD recalled in midfield with Burge, two wingers in Hackney and Potter and a new back four of Sangare and Beano as centre backs with Maclean and Craddock as full backs. Eastwood starts in goal.

Be there, who knows what you might miss? 1-1 WhyCome, Wankers?

MacLean. Johnson

8800 with 1700 non-league fans enjoying their match of the season.

UE:despite being comprehensively outplayed, WhyCome? find a technicality to whine about and are awarded the points due to one of United's bellboys wearing odd socks. Meanwhile, WhyCome? attribute this success to a second hand inanimate wooden totem with little relevance to football - but this isn't to last as Gary Waddock loses the last fives games of the season.

Bull defies Ox as penalties go missing shock horror. Wilder sobs and explains how big boys Jack and Mark used to tease him about being a small ginger, bringing on a recurrence of bedwetting. He takes his ball home and refuses to play anymore. Wycombe's return sees the money thrown at Mooney mysteriously reappear in the goalmouth, taking the form of an inverted horseshoe. AC tries to recall the lyrics to Calexico's gypsy's curse before remembering it is an instrumental.

UE: The points deducted from the Bulls 'n Gulls are seen blowing over the West End fence. Olly the Ox makes a spectacular catch, hands them to Mick Brown. Mick pops them in an envelope. Puts the enveolpe in the safe until Monday morning when he drives to FL HQ and hands them over - after obtaining a signature of course - claiming finders keepers, and we're right back in it.
