I shall press ahead, notwithstanding any judicial reviews of the decision:

Most points from following questions (1pt each):

i) How many players (across both teams) called Steve/ Steven/ Stephen/ other variation will play some active part in the game (ie. start or come on as sub)?
ii) How many teams will there be between Oxford and Stevenage in the table at the end of the evening (eg. currently one = Crewe)?
iii) How many of the other four league two games played on Tuesday (NOT including this one) will end in a win for one of the teams involved?
iv) How many penalties will be awarded in our game?
v) How many red cards (either direct or two yellows) will be awarded in our game?
vi) How many substitutions will be made in our game?

2 Steves
3 Wins (accy, torquay, crewe)
0 places in between
1 penalty
0 red cards
and 6 subs

Call it karma, call it justice, call it co-incidence, call it kevin for all I care, but with 4pts, compared to Hog's and Parklife's 3, the winner is Sideshow Rob

Am I right in thinking he loses the points if he doesn't post the next boot contest in good time?

What is the deadline? Is it 24 hours before ko?

When I was Bootmeister it was 36 hours and then 0.5 point deducted with the first to post as substitute gaining 0.5 point but then my successor went all soft and chaos now ensues.

Time for Geoff to stamp his mark as Bootmeister me thinks.

I'll set a new Boot and I invite suggestions as to the appropriate punishment.

Half point penalty for not posting in time has been fairly consistent all through so I suggest staying with that - perhaps times should be Noon Friday for weekend games, 10am on the day for midweek games.

Not so sure about the plus half for setting though..
