Round 1: Predict the scores for the final day fixtures
Altrincham v Cambridge Utd,
Eastbourne Boro v Oxford Utd,
Gateshead v AFC Wimbledon,
Grays Athletic v Forest Green,
Hayes & Yeading v Wrexham,
Histon v Barrow,
Mansfield v Kidderminster,
Rushden & D'mnds v Luton,
Salisbury v Kettering,
Stevenage v York,
Tamworth v Ebbsfleet United,
1 pt for correct result (W,D,L) ||2 pts for each correct match score, || 1pt for each goal tally correctly forecast (eg if you predict Oxford to score 3 and they get 3 you score 3 extra pts, if they score any other number you get nothing extra)
Top 4 go to play-offs (TB used here if required), the season is over for the rest!
Play-off semi-final 1st leg (All previous points now expunged!)
Predict the final positions of the clubs in the play-off places.
2pts for each correct place (eg if you predict Oxford finish 2nd and they do you get 2 pts, if they don't you get zilch).
Play-off semi-final 2nd leg
Ignoring Grays at the bottom, predict the final position of teams finishing in 18-22nd positions. 2 pts for each correct place.
Best two total scores progress to final (TB used here if required)

Hog = Brian Lee, exposed at last.
A cynical unilateral rewriting of the rules to limit the opportunities for those who could catch him over three normal boots.
This will be remembered as nearly as black a day for bootists as the grey coach incident.

Eh? You've lost me with the re-writing of rules (wot rules?) bit, and limiting the chances of others - surely everybody has the same chance of winning this particular Boot or am I missing something? Surely the only people whose chances of catching me are limited are those that haven't won enough Boots already?
Have you mistakenly assumed that I have set a Boot that runs through to the play-offs? This Boot is supposed to be for the Eastbourne match only and is based (topically I thought!) on the Play-offs.
If there is some other problem with the format that I have not realised then let me know and I'll cancel it immediately ... and let you set the new one.
I think we may be taking this too seriously! And the grey coach was silver!

I read it as a Boot running to the end of the season but on second reading I see that it isn't.
It's where you say the season is over for anyone not in the top 4.
So that is the top 4 at that point of this Boot, right?
Only Mally can change the rules this season BTW although I suspect it might be Hog's honour next season!

Unlike Boogie I didn't read it a second time so was left with the impression it was a boot for the rest of the season.
Apologies.
However the suggestion that we are taking this too seriously is ridiculous.
I know for several people the Grey coach incident still ranks alongside a Joe Ross decision in terms of one of the great injustices of the last few decades.

Christ, who'd have thought it would come to this?! What the end of season comment is supposed to mean (and I still think it's clear which is why I haven't edited it) was if you don't finish in the four play-off places in this Boot then it's the end of the season
for this Boot for you!
And I'd be grateful if people would stop referring to the grey coach incident as there was no grey coach incident. It was silver.
And as for calling me a Brian Lee! I've been called worse than that by better people than you! Now get on with your entry
