Hi boris
What time are you leaving for Tamworth? If I can get a ticket might ask for a lift?
Cheers

A handful of extra tickets have gone on sale to United fans for Sunday's game at Tamworth. Fewer than 20 tickets remain, available from Tamworth's ticket office on Friday morning from 10am. Ring 01827 65798 option 2 from 10.00am.
If you are travelling to the match then why not relax and take it easy on the way? There are still a limited number of places on the London Road Club coaches to this game
The coaches provide cheap, easy and comfortable transport to every United away game so why not leave the car at home and join the coach trip.
If you have a valid match ticket and would like to travel on the London Road club coaches then details are as follows:

I seem to remember from my last visit that there's a decent-ish Wetherspoons near the ground. It did food too. On the main road, so hard to miss. See you there..."boris" wrote:12 (ish) although still waiting for a recommendation of a decent drinking and eating place near the ground.
This e-mail from Tamworth might be helpful.
For real ale there is he the Tweedale Arms which is next to the railway
Station. We do have a bar in the away end but is only keg Tetley's and
Carlsberg. Spaces are limited and I believe that there maybe a charge of £1
to enter.
WE are only a short walk from the town centre where you will find a number
of pubs.
The Tweedale are the only pub in the town that puts some money into the club
so would appreciate that they be your first point of call. They also do
meals and are only a 5-8 minute walk away from the ground.

Re:
Change of plan. Boris, I'm reliably informed that I'll be in the Sir Robert Peel, which is just up from the Wetherspoons (Bole Bridge)."Kernow Yellow" wrote:I seem to remember from my last visit that there's a decent-ish Wetherspoons near the ground.
