According to the Oxford Mail there's unlikely to be anything happening today.

And we all know how reliable the Mail is for OUFC news...

you would like to think he wouldnt go now with promotion chances and wouldnt think oxford would want to sell him, if he were to go today we would need to bring in a striker, still think we need an out and out striker like constable, none of the others do it for me, they all seem like wingers bar midson. were u here about constable deal

If you're a conference side then you've got to accept that any real star players you get will get an unrefusable offer at some point. Take the money, shrug your shoulders and get on with it.

A Dons fan in the office here tells me that a) they haven't got any money for players, and b) Ince prefers 4-5-1, they have five strikers in the squad, and if they're buying anywhere it should be in defence. He did say, though, that Ince has a reputation for nonsensical signings, so don't rule anything out.

Roll on 17:00GMT and a Constable that's not going anywhere.

I seem to remember hearing that we'd got him from the Shrews for £30-£60k but that could be on FM rather than real life. It's all a bit blurry now.

Well I'd heard that a helicopter was seen landing at the Stadium...

Oops sorry, wrong forum.

A helicopter was seen landing at the County Ground, but had to quickly take off again after it was attacked by rake-wielding lunatics screaming about the &quotroaring sky dragon&quot
