A little half-term challenge for you
A little half-term challenge for you
Name as many Conference teams as you can in five minutes.
I got 42 out of 68 before running out of time, although in my defence I was under severe child-related hassle at the time. I got all the Conf National sides (without cheating), so there's your benchmark.

47 for Junior but he's too modest to say so. He was stood over my shoulder laughing as I was struggling with some allegedly obvious ones.

Re:
Give us an idea of the earliest. I'll have to start cheating and use google if you go back beyond John Charles."Boogie" wrote:The one I really liked when played at a really boring cricket match about 3 years ago is name all the 20(?) would be more now(?) British players who have played in Serie A. ROI players excluded (i.e you can't have Liam Brady).
It took 4 of us about 4 hours at the cricket.

Rush, Elliott, Hateley, Francis, Hitchens, Greaves, Law, Bothroyd, Blissett, Gazza, Baker,Charles, Souness, Beckham, Ince, Platt took me about 5 minutes without resorting to Google cheating."Boogie" wrote:I think I remember correctly that John Charles was the earliest on the list we ended up with and the person who set the challenge did not correct us.
A Coli might be old enough to remember an earlier export
That's 16.
