Please God, no.
You can almost imagine the spin from OUFC..

Its very possible that they might want him but I would be very, very surprised if he left. I'm not gonna say he's 'loyal' to OUFC but he seems like the sort of bloke who would want to see out a challenge. I've been wrong before though.......

Why would you want to go to a team that are almost certain to drop straight down again?
Managers are historically judged on promotions achieved, not relegations avoided. He'll do his career more good by getting Oxford back into the league than by keeping Burton mid-table in League 2.

I don't see why Burton are necessarily going to come straight back down again. Promoted clubs generally have a good record in league 2, I don't see why Burton will be any different. They've a decent ground and reasonable support.
That said, I'm not sure whether it's a big attraction for Wilder, on one hand the expectations at Oxford could mean he'll be sacked by Christmas if we're 10th or below probably - that won't be the issue at Burton unless they are bottom and struggling.
However, the potential to achieve here is greater, I'd suggest. Getting Oxford out of the conference would look better on the cv than achieving 10th in league 2 with Burton.

I'm guessing the comments seeing as the odds are generated by actual money being staked.

Yeah, but it could also be because he thinks the true odds are closer to 100-1.
Or something else entirely, like someone put an apostrophe in the wrong place.
Any mind readers on this board?

My dog just bared his teeth when I mentioned your name to him.
There is more chance of Snake being chairman of OxVox then there is of Wilder becoming manager of that crew.
