Nice collection of clips (pulled together by Leven?) in the second video link - we've been crying out for a player of his guile ever since he left.

This lad joined on loan from Doncaster in 2006 but according to the RO database didn't make an appearance but he apparently uses OUFC on his CV!

Was signed on loan by Patterson when he took over from Talbot to add a bit of bite to the midfield.

However, Jim Smith then decided that a solid midfielder destined to go on to make 200+ league appearances was not required, so sent him back, preferring to bring in half a dozen flimsy nobodies who contributed nowt but to disrupt any cohesion the squad did have, and aside from N'toya went on to clock up roughly zero league appearances between them in the rest of their careers.....

I remember Andy Burgess's hilarious appearance for Mansfield against us at the Kasstad, when he played on the left wing and spent most of the time standing by the touchline waiting (in vain) for someone to pass to him, much in the manner of myself at age 11.

Alex Fisher returns to English football.....

...I've kept an eye on him since he left the club and have long felt he was the one we let get away...mainly because of his attitude. He hasn't just settled for life in the Hellenic League as so many others have done but has kept pluggin away at a career even when that has taken him abroad to find a pro deal.
A number of years in belgium and to Italy last year, and of course the Hoddle Academy in spain before that, so I really hope he makes a go of it in this country - he deserves it!!!
This is probably unfair of me but I got the impression that his european 'career' was largely subsidised by his wealthy family. I guess we'll find out if he is good enough for anything higher than Southern League next season.

Ah yes - Alex 'Dyer by name, dire by nature' as some used to say.

I actually thought he was ok - we've had worse!
