(b) There's the OUFC football thing &amp football in general. Without OUFC it would be a much more relaxing but vastly less enjoyable footballing experience.

(c) No no and thrice no.

Everyone on this forum seems to be of a certain age and some - we all weep over the passing of the Manor and many have said that part of the whole OUFC ritual died when we moved to the &quotsoulless Kasstad. It would be intersting to get the views of the younger element who never became so attached to that ramshackle dump in Headington and possibly even only started following the U's since the move.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Kassam experience last night by the way.

Buy the stadium. Build the 4th side. Make it terracing. Make it close to the pitch. Make the roof low. Make it the HOME end. Make a Supporters Club under the stand. Get the place rocking. I have a dream.

I always said that my seat on the half way line is only temporary until I can retake my place half way along and half way up the right side London Road. For that is what I will call the new stand after I win the Euro Millions tomorrow and the supporters club will be incorporated and I will start the 100 club again.

(a) No. I would probably still go to football but pick and choose and not tie myself to any one team. Once you've supported a team for over 30 years you can't attach yourself to another one with any real conviction. Anyway which one would you choose. I've always been a total believer in supporting your local football team and couldn't support any team locally that wasn't Oxford.

(b) It wouldn't change the way I view football because I love watching football and will watch almost anything from the World Cup down to the local team on Thame rec. Most games I watch I don't care who wins and watch in a semi detached - just for the love of the game - way. That wouldn't change.

(c) Not a waste at all. I've had some amazing experiences with Oxford and would only regret that I hadn't seen more games over the years.

Thinking about it if Oxford United ceased to exist a big part of who I am would be missing and I would have some sort of identity crisis. If you asked anybody who knows me to say something about me they would almost certainly say &quotOxford fan&quot first. Just imagine how sad it would be to be defined as an ex Oxford fan.
