I notice that The Beast played today, but LSD didn't.

Midson: round of applause for today. And Craddock too. Do we actually have an embarrassment of riches at the top of the park now? It all leave Green looking like the weakest in the bunch, which is saying something.

I like Green but my overall impression of him is that he's lazy.

And now Midson has something Beano doesn't: a football league hatrick! It's often we can say that, is it!?

Is anyone else slightly worried about Beano not coming on? I know we won in the 90th min, but my reaction was, went it went 3-3, to chuck him on. But ICWWT. However, does it show that maybe we're considering an offer and don't want to risk a major asset in the game.

Quick poll: what is Beano's market value, do we think?

Reading the Torquay boards shows how privileged CW is: he can hold out for a big fee for Constable if that's what he wants to do - whereas the Torquay fans assume Benyon is going, plus one or two more, and there is little the club can do about it.

Firstly, well done Midson proved yourself today to all the doubters, Beast reporting back tomorrow got man of the match Saturday and today for Wrexham who are desperate to keep him.

Didn't Beano get a hat trick against Morecambe earlier this season.

I seem to recall being chastised for leaving 5 mins early and missing his 3rd goal.

To quote from another thread &quotI blame KT for this&quot or something of that ilk! -)

Natch.

You are totally correct and I stand corrected!

PS- cue the pedants who will say you can not be &quottotally correct&quot (or maybe you are always &quottotally correct&quot) as &quotcorrect&quot is an absolute. You either are, you're not... yawn.

Crikey Boogie, there's me thinking you knew a bit about football.

Midson is NEVER an 8. I'd have Batt as a 7 and Cole as a 4, (a massive disappointment), Green and Tonkin as 5's ( both been poor).

Apart from that reasonable analysis.
For once I agree with you.

Midson is never an 8.
Smart arse.
Nope. Just common sense, like knowing that the Beast would never settle at Wrexham.

We seem to have a proper team developing again – Wilder had me worried for a few weeks, I must admit.

Anyway, if you want to get your own back then cast your eyes on my Hat prediction for Torquay

What makes you think the Beast would not settle at Wrexham according to their fans and friends of Creights he loved it there :(

Because it makes the biggest town in Wiltshire seem nice, by comparison.

He did well there, according to anecdotal reports I’ve received.

Looks like Jack Midson has sorted out his mid term future here!

from CW in todays press

&quotWe've had a couple of enquiries about Jack after his exploits on Monday, but I should imagine I'd get hanged if I let Jack go out of the building!&quot

&quotHe's cemented a place&quot

&quotI'm happy that Jack's put himself at the forefront of my thinking again&quot

&quotI'm not one of those who says He's gone out on loan and that's it&quot

Could be seen as positioning statements by CW, in order to get a few quid for Jack. Certainly won't be able to keep all current strikers, including Maclean.
