Thanks: on which basis, I'd still be astounded if the Beveree qualified for an A grade (but then, some of the other grounds we've been forced to visit seem pretty marginal on those criteria, too.

For promotion to Conference National, the club only need to possess a B grade and have 12 months to bring it up to an A grade. Which is part of the problem at Lewes - they won't have as much money to spend on the playing side because they need to bring the ground up to scratch.
