This one is not as much of a pain(t) as the FA Trophy because we could possibly win it now that we’re allowed to enter, so you won’t be on your own! Well done in planning to go there and I’m sure the glory hunters (like me) will turn up later in much bigger numbers (i.e. 10-20k) if we get all the way to Wembley, though that depends on the opposition...

i.e. In my dreams we would have stuffed Luton at the play-off Final in front of eighty thousand fans instead of doing that to York City with just forty three thousand present (in the main due to their relatively pitiful away following on the day) so I’m not giving up on a decent day out in the JPT at any stage of the competition as unlike last year there are still some big teams I’d like to see Us play (and beat) and we do need a win right now.

In essence I think we should try to go for this one.

I doubt it - some peopleseem to be predicting large numbers of Oxford fans turning up. I think they're wrong though.

Well no-one I know is going as far as I know which means I'll have to have a pint on my own! Even my 14 year old daughter has chosen to go football training and miss her first game of the season!

I think that even if we’d had the distraction of going all the way to Wembley we’d have been pleased to have taken half as many fans to London as we did last time for what is after all a Poxy Competition by Oxford United standards.

Bring on the draw for the FA Cup...

I know, I know, and I hold up my hands in error as in the past I’ve been one of the biggest deriders of this tin pot non-League competition, but over the last 15 years Wrexham have had even more disasters to deal with than Oxford United and so it was a privilege and a truly joyous occasion to be there at Wembley this afternoon, along with other members of my family who managed to dig themselves out of the snow just to get to there.

Yippee, what a wonderful competition. Off to Wembley again on March 29th

God only knows. But at the end a lot of fans were chanting for the managers head. 24 hours later they got their wish. Funny old game is footie.
