That's harsh! Surely he only prevented us from drawing the game?!!

Druce was at the open day with one of his children so at least he was a fan!!

I really rated him at the time and I think it was the game after twerton that I put money on him scoring a hat trick!!! (God I must have been drunk)

Yes Blackburn, I remember it. It fell straight to Simon Garner who stuck it in the net ...[/quote]

I was obviously wrong about there being no opposition (Blackburn)forward being within 20 yards then - unless Garner was exceptionally quick, which I don't think he was. Good player for them at that time though.

&quotRadley Rambler&quot wrote:Yep - he hit the crossbar.

It was Marcus Stewart who got the winner for Rovers after we had all berated him for 89 minutes.
Stewart only came on in the second half, I think. He turned the game completely.

I've seen far worse players than Mark Druce play for OUFC. A few are still doing so...

Right, been away for a while, so I think I've got things up to date now

Of course, more changes likely this week with one or both leppers perhaps finally leaving, while contracts for the remaining triallists are under discussion....
