I remember reading a tale once of a group who had a glove containing money. At each game, someone would add a pound and hold the glove. Whoever held it when Garry scored kept the lot.

I will say, I spent quite a lot of time with him, and he was a smashing bloke. He attended the same FA Coaching course as me, and was more than happy to drive me to and from Reading every day chatting about life at Oxford United
