Indeed! Already a legend in my mind for missing that one-on-one. Up there with Duffy vs Exeter.
Funny. I remember a horrible afternoon at Pompey when our centre forward failed to score from 3 clear cut one-on-ones against the Pompey keeper.
Now what was his name...the goalie was Knight and our player... scouse git with silly tache, oh yes Aldridge (and not Martin).
The young lad cocked up one chance where he tried to play safe and go round the keeper but missed controlled it. Give him a break.

Oh, for goodness' sake! How many one on ones has Yemi missed, for example? For example against Exeter in the first leg ... wasn't that the game that Green missed an open goal, too? Give the kid some time.

indeed, but equally it doesn't seem fair to blame players for misses when they weren't even at the club yet...

Thanks for reminding me about Green. The player we were furious at losing.
I see he has scored 3 goals this year alongside Tim Sills (a player no one regreted the passing off) who has scored 14.
Just shows what we really know doesn't it.
