Can’t we use Mr Loophole instead of Football Factors Limited, as I can’t see any evidence on their website or anywhere else that suggests they’ve won this kind of points deduction appeal?
They are also the same company that unsuccessfully defended Mansfield.
And today is my birthday and I log in to find this fine mess..

The Club have appointed football disciplinary experts, Football Factors Limited to conduct representation on our behalf.
Blimey. Well, at least they're professional about their entire absence of professionalism.

Good to see the bookies on the ball - we're now quoted at 6-1 for relegation.

As far as I can see, in about the last five years they claim to have represented in one way or another around half of England and Wales' professional football clubs. Which I would like to think* told us nothing about the general standards of ethics and rule-breaking current in that particular sphere.
[* but do not in fact think]

And that's exactly why I used these very words.

Actually what particularly annoys me is that this has come to light in the middle of a freezing January. I would really like to pack it in for the season after we get deducted these points today. The problem is that this would involve discarding my Oxford scarf: and I do not have a suitable replacement...

Surely the understatement of the year. I've never even contemplated relegation but a points deduction like that could make it a real possibility.
Calm down Mally! It's not as if they are going to dock us any players is it? Various people have been suggesting our squad and new manager could be challenging for the play-offs so it's not as if our team is as bad as those already down the bottom on 'merit' is it? We ain't gonna make the play-offs granted, but relegation ...?
Oh bugger, what have I said?

That would be typical of our club to turn up at the wrong time.

Except in the Canaries, yes. Snow practically everywhere (though not actually where I am, or not yet).

Another thing bugging me....this business about "having known since November". Does it normally take two months for this sort of thing to arrive at a hearing? If not, why in this instance?
