Talking of which:

The ridiculing of Slumdon Town's season has been shokingly poor. Not a dickie bird after their FA Cup exit at Histon. Now they are out of all cup competitions, have only won four games and sacked their manager.

If OxVox had any nouse they would formally say something about this matter in order to boost their membership figures, but the former chair of that organisation seems not to dislike Them as much as most fans do, so I’m not holding my breath..

What's 'nouse'? Welsh for 'nous'?

Nouse is a student newspaper at the University of York. Founded in 1964 by student Nigel Fountain, some twenty years before its rival York Vision. Nouse comes out three times a term and has an estimated readership of 10,000.

Snake, has it changed dramatically in outlook and presentation over the years?

Who are you referring to as the &quotformer chair&quot and who specifically are &quotThem&quot?

This sounds ugly.

We need to know.!!!!!

When I was there you could annoy its writers by referring to it as No Use. Peurile, I know, but there you go.

Yep, entirely disenchanted pretty much sums it up for me at the moment. I've spent the last few days working out how I can plan my work and time around a trip to Dorchester on Tuesday. But after yesterday, the idea of a 250 mile, 5 hour round trip holds no excitement at all, despite it being my second nearest game of the season! So I'll stay at home.

Every time I go to a game these days I just get angry with how badly we play, how incompetent the players are, how little they seem to care. It holds no enjoyment for me whatsoever. In fact I don't think I've enjoyed a game for a couple of years now. Probably since that play-off game at St James Park, in fact.

That's not to say that I'm giving up completely, and I'll still plan more of my Christmas break than is really healthy around attending football matches. But the appeal is wearing very thin indeed.
