OUFC Text Update says that both Jeannin and Trainer signed this morning and will play at Didcot - no mention of Ledgister (though there may be once the report appears on website).

Summary page updated - I'll add in the contract details if and when they are announced on the official site.
Anybody know anything about Simon Travis who is rumoured to be on trial with us at the moment?

Compliments to the real time list updater. A very credible source and service.

I see Ledgister has signed too now (and the summary page already updated!)

There is another trialist named Travis training with the squad who plays on the wing apparently. Could this be the return of 4-4-2 with 2 real wingers? Unlikely but you never know.

I see Corky has signed, which presumably means Standing won't be.

I do see this as good news - I thought he was our best player towards the end of the season. Pity is, we are going to be paying Gilchrist - club mascot?

Probably not initially but the fact that he's at the club and was easily the best player on the field last night must mean that there's a good chance he will be signed one way or another.

Mally, the timing gap between signing and update was excessive. Please do better next time, when Standing signs

If he does sign, and Smith says that is the squad closed, my money on the rageonline headline is "last man Standing"

And if he's released it will be "Standing out in the cold"

I got the text from the club during the day and the work I'm doing these days means I'm away from a computer until I get home. I did think about updating the posting from my phone but wasn't sure if the phone would handle it - next time I'll give it a go.
BTW - Has anybody heard the details of the contracts for Jeannin and Trainer?

Why? you looking for a part time plumber
Yes ResOx, it is only 25th July. But I was really hoping we wouldn't need to waste time double checking that Marv and Duffers ain't going to work.
Moving on with the negatives. If Willmott still isn't ready to play surely we were hasty giving him a longer term deal.

Radio Oxford reported this evening that the club are looking at the finances again in an attempt to sign Standing. Wonder what that means?
Was the money there all along? Is some one else going to have their wages cut? Are we going to risk breaking the rules?
Anyway when he makes his debut in the league it must be "Standing Start" surely.
