Will Sam Crocombe be our number one, or will it be Max Slocombe?
More seriously, and assuming this means Clarke is on his way out (as widely predicted for a while), will Max be happy playing second fiddle at a League 2 club again? He turns 22 in August and needs to get his career moving. You'd think he'd prefer to be out on loan again, but we need two keepers at the club...
Slocombe has not been signed to play second fiddle to Crocombe!
He will be the new number one. It looks like the end for Clarkey, as he will not want to be a number 2.
EDIT - just re-read Kernow's post - sorry - I missed the joke on first reading
