On the reception of returning players, it usually depends on the manner of their departure. When Green, for example, left the first time - to Torquay after a verbal agreement had allegedly been made - reactions were ambivalent at best, hostile at worst. My own reaction was somewhere towards the later.
This time, Green leaves rehabilitated and a Wembley hero. I wish him all the best in the future.
