Did anyone on here actually go to the Didcot game?

Any surprises/ standouts/ turkeys/ mystery trialists ???

Of the new boys:

Dubes had little do but he looked strong in the air and did back up well when Wright missed the ball once.

JPP looked impressive. Sharp with an eye for goal. I didn't expect him to be so good in the air.

Capaldi was very impressive with his direct attacking play. Didcot didn't trouble him at the back of course.

Smalley did look very strong. Similar to Beano on a first glance. Should maybe have scored with a header.

Whing (see Capaldi).

Paterson suffered from poor control in the first 15 minutes (nerves?) but then improved. Overall I didn't think he looked sufficiently different from the other forwards to justify a contract.

I think we are after another quality striker. Perhaps this isn't the guy then. Shame Donaldson decided to go to Brentford.
