Whereas York fans I've spoken to reckon they'll be lucky if they take as much as half of their allocation.

All but two blocks now sold out.

This can't be the 37,500 allocation.

I'm actually pretty impressed with See tickets - they shift 160,000 Glasto tickets in a matter of hours and I've never had complaints - one of the more friendly customer service lot as well.

Could you imagine trying to sell them from the ticket office - GY would go mad about the phone being engaged all the time!!

Does anyone know the actual number of tickets sold so far?

If we get a bigger allocation, I guess they will need to open the top tier.... in which case I'll be selling my Block 127 ticket and buying one up there :-D

Lower and Middle Tiers hold 51,235. As both clubs have been given 58500 between them I guess they will soon be putting top tier tickets on sale (or those club class/lower class blocks that they have held back)

Either way they should do it quickly, if I'm an Oxford fan and I see sold out I would be straight onto the YOrk website.

My mate has just rung me and said that he has ordered his tickets in block 552 because he wanted to be on the half way line but the lowest block number that was available was 542, that's nearly two thirds of the way round.

16,000 seats were sold by this morning which was all of the first allocation. Sales were suspended until 11.30 with mainly level 5 and a few level 2 seats now on sale. It seems they plan to release blocks in phases.

16,000 plus sold by early morning.

Probably would have gone past 20,000 by 2pm - very impressive.

I hope York sell the majority of their allocation.

I don't want to sit high up in level 5 may wait until
level 2 Club Wembley seats 239-252 become available.

Well he will be in the same block as the Merritts then. It is an amazing view from there, we were in a similar position when watching England a couple of years back, the view was sensational. Can't wait! (although knowing me if we take the lead early I will spend most of the game pacing the concourse... :) )

Seetickets is a pretty poor service if we're honest. Took 18 hours for my confirmation email to come through!

I have ordered festival tickets from them in the past and never received a confirmation e-mail. Luckily the tickets have always arrived no problems.
