In the spirit of Christmas and the positive outlook that New Year brings, I shall fall into the same trap as Rage Online and tempt fate by actually trying to predict the result correctly....

so here goes:

Oxford 3 Woking 1 (Burgess, Duffy, Hutchinson // Hutchinson)
Crowd 10,650 Away 420

UE Oxford lose 2-1
UE2 Smith appears on pitch to announce he is moving upstairs and Patto is taking over as manager.

Us 2 (Yemi, Duffer) Them 0

Att : 11,999 which includes 399 of Them.

UE : There is a slight cock-up with the Giant OxVox Flag, despite several rehearsals. It’s not foggy at all, not even a bit. People who have not been since the last sell-out game complain on RadOx about parking tickets and how slow it is to get out of the overflow car park after the game. Kassam doesn’t sell the stadium to Merry’s backers after all. Three players get sent off and the fire engine does not make its traditional appearance. Lucky Sharon finally scores with the bloke who comes to sit next to her at half time (using my seat) every time I go off and have a cup of tea in the concourse during the break.

Oh, and Happy OUFC Christmas Holidays everyone, wherever you are! :D

2-1 Ox
Hargreaves, Duffer Sharpling
11,444, 395

The game is delayed as reindeer droppings are removed from the penalty area. Billy munches on fly agaric and flies around the ground mystically.

OxKing 2 WoKing 1

Duffer, Basham, their Hutchinson for them

11,647 of which 11,277 from Ox

UE: We finish a year on top of the league.
UE: The flag gets blown away by a strong gust of wind, and kids from BBL catch it and run off with it.

In case I don't get another chance, Merry Christmas and Hapy New Year to all of you.

Win 2-1
Duffy, Burgess, Sole
11222

UE: They forget to bring the flag. The flag is unfurled upside down. The flag splits. The zip on the flag bag sticks and they can't get it out. The flag &quotisn't as big as I thought it would be&quot. The flag is banned because it hasn't got a kite mark. The flag spontaneously combusts. The crowd sings &quotWe love you Fl - ag, we do&quot or &quotStand up if you love the flag&quot but not both. Something unusual happens with the flag. And the North Stand crowd walk out at halftime in protest at not being able to caress the flag.

And a merry flagging Christmas to you all.
