A simple message to Wilder

Post by recordmeister »

I wonder if CW reads forums? He seems to mention them a lot in interviews (just today, the oxford mail quote &quot ridiculous reports (on a fans’ forum, suggesting he was out for the season)&quot

(Is there not cause there for the use of square brackets?)

If he does, I have one message to him:

STOP!

No need to say &quotsquare&quot - brackets are always square. The curvy ones are parentheses.

I would have used a semicolon, personally.

Couldn't agree more mate.

Although it's a bit like the sign that says:

DANGER! Do not read this sign.

My friend and I were playing with a frisbee on a cliff (as you do), and he was running along without looking and went slap bang groin level into this sign saying 'DANGER: cliff edge'.

Yeah, don't mess with that Cliff Edge - he'll kick you in the bollocks soon as look at you.

but it depends on the context. In my line of work

these are brackets ... ( )
these are curly brackets ... { }
these are square brackets ... [ ]
these are angle brackets ... &lt &gt
--== Keep On Keepin' On ==--
