Cambridge left back Anthony Tonkin.

A Coli - what's the word in Cambridge and what is he like as a player?

No idea! Is there a football side based in Cambridge?

Anyway, Cambridge News had this:

http://www.cambridge-news.co.uk/cn_spor ... ?ID=473701

which does suggest some interest in him. Big news of the day was the herd of pigs that escaped and closed the M11.

He's 29 and 5'11&quot, he's sitting on four yellow cards, but I guess any of us could have found that out.

why have the club announced that they've already signed someone before january? if they are out of contract, surely they could be named, and if they're under contract, that's outside the transfer window, non?

More info here.

It would appear that they haven't revealed who he is because he doesn't have a name.

How can they announce it officially before the transfer window opens?

Press Quote:-

An Essex Police spokesman said about 50 of the animals, which each weigh about 20st, are still trapped in the wreckage which is blocking two lanes. The runaway pigs are now grazing on the embankment.

Another bonsai midfielder! Has Wilder got some sort of height complex?

Ladak clearly admires him greatly:

Because Kettering had terminated his contract. Being a free agent we were not bound by the transfer window rule.

Why were Kettering eager to get rid of him?
